This is the first of multiple milestones. With each of these changes we improve our members access to the care they need. Our ability to provide accurate useful information when users are searching our platform is critical to their digital experience. Our aim is to reduce friction and improve experience when they need our services.

Key new improvements and benefits

Enhanced workflow for PCP searches, reducing the number of steps and pages required when searching for a provider.

Auto population of location and plan enables authenticated users to immediately run a PCP search.

-Improved backend for PCP searches leveraging Elasticsearch, resulting in a reduction of overhead in managing and enhancing search results by leveraging built-in features and functionality.

New search-base reporting and analytics, providing data on user search activities enabling us to proactively identify and address areas to be enhanced.

Location bar enabling quick filtering of results

users can choose ‘Locate me’ to have location auto-added

Users can enter a zip code or address to set location manually.

Plan selector with quick picks for popular plans

Users can select from popular plans using the supplied list at the top

Users can use the dropdown boxes to select a specific plan if it’s not in the ‘popular plan’ list.

Doctor cards for quick selection

Users can select from a list of specialties and then search to be taken to the results page.

Typing a name will cause the Doctors and Medical groups section to start displaying Dr. and Medical Group cards (quick links)

Users can still type a name and hit search to go to the results page
